With functional nutrition, symptoms are seen as clues for understanding your underlying health problems, I always seek to get to the bottom of what’s driving your symptoms. This requires a much deeper look into your past health history than what you typically find in non-functional providers. I offer Medical Nutrition Therapy for many digestive concerns, inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, this may include laboratory review, including blood work, stool testing such as a GI Map, or a food sensitivity test such as the MRT/Leap blood draw and meal plan, supplement recommendations, and of course a dietary counseling to help resolve your condition. Often, functional nutrition specialty tests are NOT covered by insurance. But the trade off is that functional nutrition often gets to the root cause of a problem instead of managing your disease by treating symptoms only.

I have been working with Hilary for 2 months and am already down a little over 10 lbs. I gained A LOT of weight during the pandemic and just wasn’t feeling myself and was honestly feeling discouraged and hopeless when I met Hilary. Her plan was easy to follow and she was so encouraging. It was the first time I saw my body respond to a change in a long time. I feel very supported with Hilary, like I am not on this journey alone. I have also discovered that I LOVE lifting weights. Lastly, and I think most importantly to me, I don’t feel deprived. I have been able to eat pizza when I want, gummy bears and a glass of wine. All in moderation. There is no binging because I do NOT feel deprived. Nothing is off limits. I just cannot say enough kind and encouraging things about Hilary.
